From my flock to yours, Merry Christmas!

Kate and #43 (pronounced "number forty-three") representing the flock.  Currently we have 4 children and 4 chickens.  Vinton baby #5 is due mid-January.

This is what I got when I tried to get the flock together in one picture.

No cooperation.

Just laugh, it's ok.

That's why there was a fuss when I wanted to add a chicken to the mix. What cute kids they are - when they want to be and are sufficiently bribed!

These are the best pictures I got this year.... with 4 kids, I suppose I should be happy they all cooperated, despite the camera and I not getting along.  We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

We were pretty lucky to get a semi-decent picture with everyone!  Here are some of the others...

 

 



 

 

For St. Patrick's day everyone stayed home from church except me (Lisa), they were all sick with that never-ending cold going around.  Then, we had our Irish food for dinner.  We read Irish blessings, some funny and some serious.  Michael only ate the soda bread and green ice cube soda.  Hence the "yuck."  Kate fought for the crown, then dismissed it as soon as she saw the headband.  Jim reluctantly took pictures of the rest of us.  And Eric, being the sweetheart that he is, enjoyed his food.  We all enjoyed the pistachio cupcakes (well, J enjoyed the frosting...).  After all of that I still feel very lucky to have my family!  Happy St. Patrick's day to all ye lads and lasses out there.
