Santa

The kids went to see Santa at Fountain City Hall today. Kate ended up crying, because she didn't tell Santa what she wanted (which she does not have an answer for anyways). Joshua wasn't really sure what was going on, and in the picture above Mrs. Clause realized that he was staring up at her-I love that look she has on her face! Apparently my children didn't want to smile today. But, they can't say I didn't try to get them a good picture with Santa this year!
In case I don't get back to the blog, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

I know most of you just want pictures, so here you go.

The "O'Neil picture" with blanket.

Cute feet. Kindof long and skinny. I think they are like Mom-O's feet.

There he is!

Welcome, Spring!

Well, it's not the 4th of July anymore... this is what we've been up to:

-Eric was baptized the first Saturday in August. Mom-O, Papi, and Jenny came in for a visit and to see Eric on his special day.

-School started in August. Eric is in 3rd grade, Michael in Kindergarden. Kate is "homeschooled" ha ha ha. Jenny was here to help us end the summer/start the school year.

-Kate turnd 2 in October. Lisa also turned 2.

-We had a fun Halloween with the ward trunk-or-treating. Not sure where the picture proof is, but we had a Ladybug (Kate), a fierce diety Link (Michael), a regular green Link (Eric), and a witch (Lisa, in natural form, with added costume to look the part).

-The kids and I enjoyed a Thanksgiving in LA with my family. It was busy and fun, with all of the cousins around. We gave Papi (my dad) a wind chime with a chime for each grandchild - making the total 9. Since then we have happily learned that there will be 12 by the fall! We also celebrated Mom-O's 60th birthday!

-We had a lovely CO Christmas at home, and then went up to join Jim's family.-A Happy New Year came and went, complete with snow that prevented our family party guests from arriving.

-Jim turned 3 in February. Michael turned 6 in March.

-We also had a few other events and somewhat made-up holidays in between it all. Examples: Eric sang with a CO Springs boys choir, we celebrated pii day where we at pie, we had green eggs and sprinkled pancakes for Dr. Seuss's birthday, and Eric won the Jordahl (school) Idol Judges' award of $25!

-The baby should come in about 8 weeks - I CAN'T WAIT! Bring it on! My body is done cooking this little one. Here are some spring pictures we just took today. Yes, these are the same green bow ties on the boys, but they went so well with Kate's Easter skirt that they just had to wear them! Enjoy!
